November Monthly Gathering

Hey Coaches! 

It’s time for our October Monthly Gathering! The discovery of the month is “God the Son.” How we see Jesus changes how we see everything else!

You can start now by praying for these over kids, families, yourselves, your co-coach, and Kid’s Directors/Kid’s Team:

– God, thank You for being so good. Will You help us recognize Your goodness in every area of our lives?

– Thank You for the opportunity to be together.

– We invite You into every part of our hearts. We are so excited to continue to discover more about Jesus.

Here’s a snapshot of the gathering:

• Coach Huddle | 5:45pm 

• Doors Open | 5:55pm (this is 5 minutes earlier this year!)

• Pizza/Ice Breakers | 6:00pm

• Culture Set Up | 6:05pm
  •  We will remind kids what our monthly gathering is
  • Give them tips of how to engage with their whole heart
  • Set expectations of the culture we want to experience this year

• Game Time “In Sync” | 6:09pm

• • Here’s how to play: This game, will be led from your Kid’s Director.
    • Kids director will invite kids to stand up and as a pod they will give everyone a word and they would have to act out that word.
    • The goal is for everyone to perform the action at the same time in the same way without talking when the director says the word and counts down from 3-2-1.

• Leadership Essential #1 (Leaders leave a space better than they found them) and Table Time | 6:21pm

• Discovery Video (God the Son – How we see Jesus Changes how we see Everything Else) | 6:31pm

• Leadership Lab | 6:42pm

• • Once your Kid’s Director gives instructions and releases, you will pass out glasses + markers.

  • Then your Kid’s Director will model the lab and release you to lead your pods through the truth sheets

    • Have kids put on the spy glasses and read the hidden messages

    •  Kids will then write on glasses with permanent markers the truth about Jesus that changes how they see it.

      • By the end, words may include: Friend, Savior, Generous, Servant, Peaceful, Kind, Hope.

    • Then you will discuss at Pods
      • “Which truth about Jesus do you relate to most?”
      • “Which one is the hardest for you to understand? Why?”

• Prayer | 7:03pm
