MONTH THREE | OVERVIEW

Here is your overview for Month Three! Below you can find a brief description of each Sunday morning for the month and the link to the Leadership Essential students saw on Wednesday. This month we also included the Relational Skills video from week three so that you can prepare ahead of time.

Week One | Scripture Practice

  • Students will practice divine reading. This is about reading for transformation rather than just information.
  • Student Directors will lead through the 12-minute experience, but you can review page 49 to practice beforehand.
  • During the 12 minutes of discussion, give students time to write their answers on page 49 and then discuss the experience as a pod.
  • During the discussion, the win is to talk about how we experienced God (NOT what we learned from the passage or what the passage means).

Week Two | Prayer Practice

  • During the discussion, the win is to talk about how we experienced God through the prayer practice.
  • You will spend your time together as a pod by praying over the different spaces at your campus.
  • Because we will be out of the room, we will not come back together to answer the questions in the journal. Instead, you can lead through those questions or have students fill them out on their own.
    • You can dismiss your pod on your own at 9am.

Week Three | Relational Skills

  • This month, the relational skill is about remembering people’s names. We will watch a video, discuss next steps as a pod, and respond to the question on page 54.

Week Four | Accountability & Reflection

  • The win is to celebrate and encourage your students for how they engaged in their training plan this month.
  • Students will need to complete an accountability form for not completing any part of their training plan, and will need to use a hall pass.
  • After holding students accountable to their training plan, pods will then have time to discuss the questions on pages 56 and 57. Students should come this Sunday with those questions already filled in – so you can coach them if they need a reminder.
