This Sunday in Student Leadership, we get to engage with Week 4 of our Month Eight Training Plan together! This is found on page 139 of our journal. We will be walking through our entire training plan together so we can hold each other accountable to what we committed to. We will walk through each practice that we’re responsible for together, then we’ll have time to discuss the answers to our monthly reflection questions. Here is an overview of our time together:
- Accountability | 12 Minutes
- You will have this time to walk through students’ monthly engagement, mission (carry hope) practice, reading plan tracker, and memory scripture.
- Students who have already shared their memory scripture with you are all set and will not need to share it again in this time.
- Because this takes the longest, it may be easiest to start with this first.
- Be mindful of your time so all students have a chance to share each of their practices.

- Reflection | 12 Minutes
- Discuss your answers to the Monthly Summary questions on pages 144 and 145 of your journal.
- Student Summer Video | 4 Minutes
- At the end of our morning, we will get to hear an exciting update for Student Summer, so plan for a slightly shorter discussion time!
END OF SEMESTER NOTES
- We WILL still have our Accountability Form available for students to fill out if they missed a practice in their training plan. We still want our students to practice giving an account for the things they’re able to do, even though it’s the end of the experience.
- Because it’s the end of the semester, we have our End of Semester Reflections on page 147 of our journals. If you have time in the morning, we encourage you to talk through these with your pod.
HOW TO PREPARE
- Make sure you’ve filled out YOUR Month Eight Summary on pages 144 and 145 of your journal
- Make sure you’ve filled out your “Coaching Notes” for each student in your pod, this is located in the Coach Addendum of your journal
