February Monthly Gathering

We are so excited for this Monthly Gathering discovering about “Identity.” 

You can start now by praying for these over kids, families, yourselves, your co-coach, and Kid’s Directors/Kid’s Team:

– Jesus we are so grateful that we have a new identity in You!
– Now, will You help us to live in a way that is aligned with those truths?
– We know that in You, we are righteous, chosen, holy, wanted, and loved! (declare out any other identity statements that are true in Jesus!)

Here’s a snapshot of the gathering:

• Leadership Lab/Pod Discussion & Share Out | 6:41pm

  • • The activity sheet includes verses with blanks that kids will fill in by looking up each verse in their Bible. Each verse helps us understand our identity, because identity determines behavior, and shows how we can apply it to our lives today.

    • Coaches, you can model the first one for kids, then pair kids to work together and assign each kid a number to work through a verse together.

    • After working together for a few minutes. Pods will teach one another what their verse says about identity and how behavior flows from that identity, so all kids will have the opportunity to write the verses down.

  • Then we will transition to discussion questions to talk as a pod:
    – Which identity statement stood out to you & why?
    – What does “acting as if it were so” look like in your life? (be specific!)
    – Which was the hardest for you to believe & why?
    – By faith, declare that identity statement out for yourself.
