This Sunday in Student Leadership, we get to engage with our Scripture practice together! We will be engaging scripture together through a practice called divine reading.
Here’s a brief overview of what the morning will look like:
- Welcome
- Recite monthly memory scripture together
- Set up Scripture Practice
- Engage Scripture Practice together, walking through the following:
- Read the passage
- Read to reflect
- Read to respond
- Read to rest
- Give space for everyone to answer the questions in their journals
- Discuss as a pod
- The win is to talk about how we experienced God, NOT what we learned from the passage or what the passage means
